Jaguars New Uniforms

Jacksonville Jaguars New Uniforms Unveiled

The Jacksonville Jaguars' new uniforms were unveiled Tuesday afternoon in Jacksonville.

Designed by Nike, the new uniforms are meant to create a new look and new attitude for Florida's youngest NFL franchise.

The new uniforms feature a "Jags" shield to recognize fans. The number font is described as angular, sharp and modern.

"The Jaguars proudly salute their hard working military fan base with a patch placed on the front plane of the jersey, directly over the heart. The patch features a forward facing Jaguar head as well as the new JAGS wordmark," the team said in a press release.

“These uniforms balance our tradition with the future” said Jaguars Owner Shahid Khan. “The military-style badge on the front of the jersey speaks directly to the strong relationship we have with our hometown of Jacksonville.”

The new helmets are black in the front and fade to gold -- symbolizing a jaguar coming out of the shadows.

To full get out of the shadows, the Jags will to look as sharp on the field as their new uniforms.

The Florida football fashion show will continue on Thursday when the Miami Dolphins show off their new logo and uniforms.
